Working Well, Working Wisely

By 2060, nearly one-half of Australians aged 64 or older will be employed. This increase in the number of older workers means that jobs, services, and employment policies will have to be redesigned to accommodate an ageing workforce. One of the key considerations for older workers (and for workplaces) is healthy ageing. The Working Well, Working Wisely project led by Australian National University aims to develop interventions that capitalise on older Australians’ skills and expertise, boost their economic participation, while minimising later health and aged-care costs.
