The formation of Wellbeing Group to support the creation of their health and wellbeing program was a positive starting point, generating a program from a collaboration of ideas and planning to now include healthy choice intranet resources, a calendar of regular health activities and other onsite facilities that encourage healthy choices.

Organisations can work towards bronze, silver and gold accreditation. Rotorua Lakes Council achieved gold in February 2018.
