To create a high-quality, relevant and coordinated program, its useful to have considered Step One: Getting Started and Step 2: Needs Assessment prior to devising your action plan. It is almost important to set indicators for success and set yourself up to capture the right data and interpret results against program intentions.
This Action plan template should be used in conjunction with the QLD healthy workplace audit tool and healthy workers survey. By looking at the information gathered from these tools you will be able to prioritise the top three risks to create your action plan.
Your organisation may wish to use this example to develop your own Action Plan. Each workplace is unique and this example is intended as a guide only. Action planning allows you to set out clear and achievable goals, objectives and strategies for your workplace health and wellbeing program, based on the (workplace and employee) needs and employee interests you have identified through your needs assessment process. This planning is vitally important for ensuring a successful program.
